Eastern Idaho Public Health District conducts health and safety inspections for child care facilities in the eight counties of our district. We conduct inspections for the Department of Health and Welfare and the Idaho Child Care Program. The Health District has no licensing program of its own. Our role is an outreach and educational approach to obtain day care provider compliance with the health and safety regulations governing the child care programs.
